The DMT200 Drone Adapter Bracket is a precision mounting accessory designed to enable aerial deployment of compatible SLAM200 Series scanners on DJI drones. Built from aerospace aluminum alloy, the DMT200 provides a compact, secure interface between the scanner and flight platform for drone-based LiDAR data collection.

By taking SLAM scanning into the sky, the DMT200 expands collection workflows for larger outdoor sites, difficult-to-access areas, open terrain, construction sites, corridors, and wide-area mapping projects where ground-based handheld, backpack, or vehicle deployment may be limited or inefficient.

Drone-Based SLAM Deployment

The DMT200 supports the SLAM200 Series, including the SLAM200, SLAM200E-32, and SLAM200E-16. For aerial workflows, the SLAM200 is recommended for its longer-range 32-channel LiDAR performance, while the SLAM200E models may also be used with appropriate mission planning and care.

The adapter is designed for DJI drone platforms using the SkyPort payload interface, including the DJI M300 and DJI M350. During operation, the scanner is still managed through the SLAM GO mobile app, allowing users to start and stop scanning before takeoff or during flight.

For RTK-enabled workflows, the scanner can integrate with the drone platform’s GNSS positioning and correction data, supporting more accurate aerial SLAM data collection without requiring a separate scanner-mounted GNSS setup.
