SlamScanner.com collects sales tax only on orders shipped to addresses within the state of California, in accordance with applicable state and local tax laws. Orders shipped to destinations outside of California are not charged sales tax at checkout.

Why Sales Tax Is Only Charged in California
SlamScanner.com operates from California and currently has sales tax nexus only within the state of California. As a result, we are required to collect sales tax on qualifying transactions shipped to California addresses. We do not currently collect sales tax for shipments to other states.

Use Tax Responsibility (Out-of-State Orders)
If your order is shipped outside of California, you may be responsible for use tax in your home state or jurisdiction. Use tax may apply when sales tax is not collected at the time of purchase. SlamScanner.com does not calculate, collect, or remit use tax for out-of-state orders.
