Pocket 3D Plug-n-Play Package
The Pocket 3D Plug-n-Play Package is our premium setup option for customers who want their Pocket 3D system professionally prepared and ready for field operation with minimal initial configuration.
The package combines our Pocket 3D External Camera Calibration Service with a dedicated Preconfigured Mobile Device for operating the scanner with SLAM GO Mobile.
Professional Camera Setup & Calibration
We mount your compatible 360° camera to the Pocket 3D and perform the prescribed field calibration and SLAM GO POST processing workflow. The resulting camera calibration is stored on the Pocket 3D so the scanner and camera arrive as a configured system ready for 3DGS data collection.
Dedicated, Preconfigured Mobile Device
The included mobile device arrives with SLAM GO Mobile preinstalled and configured for Pocket 3D operation, eliminating the need to source and prepare a compatible Android device yourself.
We select a name-brand Android device appropriate for the workflow, typically from the same performance class as the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G 128GB or Moto g 5G 128GB. The exact model may vary based on availability and our current hardware selection.
The mobile device also includes a basic field case, glass screen protector, and prepaid 90-day mobile data plan. It provides a dedicated control device that can remain assigned to your Pocket 3D rather than relying on an operator’s personal phone.
Ready to Run
With the camera mounted and calibrated and the mobile device already configured, the Plug-n-Play Package eliminates much of the initial hardware and software setup. You can move directly into learning the Pocket 3D field-capture and processing workflow with a system that has already been prepared for operation.
